This is what the car looked like when it came into our shop.

STEP 1
Before Sandblasting

Shown in photo before sandblasting. We prepared the surface by sandblasting with a mild media which removes pint and the rusted metal..the "cancer in cars." Metal remaining after sandblasting is good, strong and ready for the next step.

 

 

STEP 2
After Sandblasting

Shown in photo is the surface after it has been prepared as described above. Note that the damage revealed by adequate preparation is far greater than the customer was aware of by what could be seen before. If not prepared properly, the "cancer" (or rust) will only continue to grow and undermine the integrity of the metal.

STEP 3
Our Work Completed

Our special equipment was then used to fill in the rusted areas with a fluidized bed of galvanized metal. workable (like lead) with a file, but adheres better, and is not toxic. By using this process and then finishing hte surface correctly, we guarantee NO RUST FOR 5 YEARS! Shown in photo is the fender ready for paint!

 

* WORKS IN ANY POSITION

This wire feed spray welder sprays pure metal into the rusted area--upside down, right side up, sideways-- it doesn't matter. The liquidized metal droplets adhere immediately to the surface as they touch it. If you can see it, you can fix the rust hole. The liquidized metal spray follows the contour of the piece you are repairing, so that intricately shaped repair jobs are no longer so labor intensive.

* LOW TEMPERATURE APPLICATION

You're thinking...HOT METAL...danger and problems. But, unlike welding, the metal is so cooled upon application (125o F) that you avoid all the problems created by heat.
